結果的にAaliyahは"Footstep in the Dark"はカバーすることは無かったものの、過去のインタビューによると、Aaliyahは"(At Your Best) You Are Love"の「You're a positive motivating force within my life (あなたは私の毎日の原動力になってくれる)」と歌っている箇所の歌詞が気に入ったそうで、この曲はThe Isley Brothersのメンバーが彼らの母親に捧げた楽曲。
